Gestern ging ich auf das free space festival in Wien, dass nun zum zweiten Mal stattfindet. Im Fokus der Veranstaltung steht Kunst, die sich mit sozialen, gesellschaftlichen wie auch politischen Missständen in der Welt auseinandersetzt. Der Fokus liegt außerdem ganz klar in der globalen Protestbewegung, die an keinem spurlos vorbeigegangen sein sollte. Arabischer Frühling und Occupy Bewegung sind nur zwei Schlagworte, die beim free space festival thematisiert werden. Auf unkommerziellen Raum zeigen nationale und internationale KünstlerInnen ihre Werke und bieten Raum für Diskussion und Interpretation. Es gibt Musik, Lesungen, Filme, Live Graffiti und am aller wichtigsten was fürs Hirn!
Wer Lust bekommen hat und sehen möchte wie die KünstlerInnen diese Geschehnisse in Film, Bild & Ton eingefangen und verarbeitet haben kann das Festival noch morgen besuchen. Ich werde morgen auch wieder dort sein denn es ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert!
